If you're going to Scotland then you should definitely plan on doing a roadtrip and a renting a car. There so many beautiful places to see and you truly can't see them all by train or taxi. I went to Scotland last summer and I'm already didn't have enough time but, if you have 10 days this is how I would split my time.
